 David Beveridge has over 19 years experience in the financial services industry achieving the qualification of Australian Certified Investment Planner in March 1989. In 1989 he founded SecurInvest Advisory Services which operated in 4 states throughout the 1990's providing financial planning and mortgage services to Australian Families. He has worked as a training and compliance officer for two different Licensed Dealer's in Securities operating at board of directors level, resigning from all positions in 1996. David was also heavily involved with the emergence of lines of credit as a financial planning tool in the early part of the 1990’s working with a number of lender's to help design their loan products to better suit the cashflow needs of Australian investors. In 1998, David established a Sunshine Coast based property investment research business providing selection and structuring services to clients referred by Financial Planners across Australia. David's experience is now being converted into practical methods of educating Australians in line with the ACOFE Mission Statement. He regularly reviews students progress through the course and assists with guidance and mentoring. His roll within the college is the practical management and day today involvement and application of all aspects of the business and education delivery. David is responsible for the drive to become a Registered Training Organisation and for the development of the unique ACOFE accounting practice, launched in 2006. He has a belief that a very real way to secure financial independence is to break from the conventional methods of compounding returns over time, and take control of ones own results. Ultimately financial accountability can be measured by the lifestyle a person's investments can afford them, in their retirement, whatever form their retirement may take. |
