Advanced Topic Workshop 1, One Day Event

Advanced Topics Workshops 2010

Each Advanced topics workshop is a full day event (9:30 am to 4:30 pm).

The first Advanced Topics Workshops for 2010 are to be held on the weekend of 13^th and 14^th February 2010. There is a workshop to be held at Mooloolaba on Saturday 13^th Feb. The same workshop topics will be presented in Brisbane the following day (Sunday, 14^th Feb.)

The topics to be presented include:

A brief exercise to gather information about participants’ attitude towards risk and reward considerations,
Position size is absolutely essential,
What constitutes “going up” and “going down” (now that’s gotta spark some interest!!)
De-Mythologising some indicators
- Stochastic indicator,
- Bullish and bearish divergence,
- Commodity Channel Index (CCI),
- Directional Movement system (DMS),
- Measuring the strength of an up-trend and a down-trend,
- Relative Strength Index (RSI).

While these are the listed topics, we may not manage to cover each and every one of them because of time considerations. The emphasis will be on a thorough coverage of the topics we do manage to address. The topics we do not cover can be carried over to the next Advanced Topics Workshop or Advanced Topics Traders’ Group session.
