"The great thing about the course with ACOFE is that you can keep going back as many times as you like, so that you can understand the subject completely" John Belczacki is a Woombye resident with a thirst for knowledge. After studying with ACOFE he has a depth of understanding for share trading that allows him to play the market with confidence, writes Sarah Jane Chalk. After graduating from ACOFE John is at a point where he has overcome a few hurdles and is now applying the knowledge. "The great thing about the course I did with ACOFE is that you can keep going back as many times as you like, so that you can understand the subject completely" he says. "I learnt so much about indicators and I feel that I really understand that whole area now. And it is by being able to read chart patterns and properly understanding indicators that you can find out the probability of whether the stock is going up or down." John has such a strong grasp on the topic it is impressive to hear him talk about finance so passionately. "Every stock has it's own personality, just as every person has different needs" he says." It depends on the individual, some are on the internet trading all day, every day, others daily and some are weekly or monthly. You just have to find your own style." "People think that they will become millionaires straight away but it really takes four to five years to get there, depending on how much money you have to begin with. It's all about minimizing your losses and maximizing your profits. It takes time and there's no such thing as easy money. I'm doing the hard yards now, but it's interesting at the same time." "Share trading suits me best" John says. "I started learning about technical analysis first and gradually climbed my way through, you have to be pretty dedicated, but I think it is fun and really worth it." Now that ACOFE has been successfully running for more than three years, it was inevitable that the graduates would want to keep their knowledge fresh. ACOFE recently invited students to attend a graduates club; a breakfast meeting at Mooloolaba where they get together with their laptops and share charts, talking ten-to-the-dozen about stocks and shares. "You walk out of ACOFE thinking you know it all" John says. "There is so much information to comprehend and talking to each other in the graduate club helps because we are all interested in different things. The club re-invigorates and gets you going again and you can keep going back as much you like - all different needs are catered for. I would definitely recommend ACOFE to other people. There are a variety of packages and I'm really happy I chose one where I can go back as many times as I want to" John says he has attended the various courses and training events several times now and feels he has really gained a solid understanding of how to profit from the stock market and at the same time protect him against losses. |
