Hey, Can anybody remember when it is acceptable to use the CCI crossover of below to above the +100? I think it may be for a sidways market?? Cheers

Cool, Thanks Rob. I've also been using it when the MACH is not appropriate for a FRL. Price action is going sideways then breaks through the FRL. From the testing I've done this seems to really work. Would you agree or am I applying the CCI incorrectly? Cheers

CCI is brilliant for confirming a change of trend trade entry (daily as well as weekely). For change of trend confirmation the signal is when CCI passes from below -100 to above -100. The re-entry trade confirmation on CCI is when CCi passes from below +100 to above +100. Am also testing out an extremely simple little strategy combining CCI and (key) reversal price bars.
